First Thing's First

Stop!
Take a deep breath & go get yourself a glass of water.

It’s best to take your time and savor it or chug-a-lug if you like but drink the whole glass.

I always remind myself “The man who knows anything knows nothing at all” …but I think if I *do* know anything, it’s that it’s always best to be hydrated.

Now slow down & take a deep breath again. Maybe close your eyes for a second or stretch out on the floor…

When you open them now, Pop your eyes open and focus on your vision. Look all around you. Find something pretty, striking, elaborate, funny or awesome.
Awesome- Descriptive of something inspiring awe (digg it)

Find something awesome and study it with your eyes… the size & color, think about how this particular thing found way to your location, out of all of the other locations in the world. Right now. Think about where it came from and who worked to make it what it is. Picture how it’s cared for each day. Smile. Take a moment more to sit in gratitude. Let it fill you up to a laugh. Laugh in honor of it.
Do this all the time.

Remember:
In every moment there is a piece of the extraordinary; Something Brilliant.

(I was looking at the colors on a globe that still says the Soviet Union on it.  It’s remarkable where the world has come since then. Also Remarkable would be the story, if this globe could tell you how it found its way, decades later, to my desk.)
